Two People Shot In North Miami

NORTH MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A man sitting inside a car and a women on the porch in North Miami were shot late Thursday.

A 19-year-old man, according to CBS4's news partner the Miami Herald, and a 20-year-old woman were struck by bullets that came from a passing car, North Miami Major Neal Cuevas told the paper.

The shooting took place at 675 NE 130 Street.

A police spokesperson said the weapon used during the shooting may have been an AK-47.

The victims were taken to Ryder Trauma in stable condition.

The paper reports that each victim had at least one gunshot wound to their upper body.

It was unclear if either victim lived inside the home.
