Margate Business Shows A Little Belly Love
MARGATE (CBSMiami) - Pregnant women need pampering too; and now there is a special spa in Margate that caters to expecting moms, giving them an unforgettable spa day.
Expecting mom and CBS4 morning anchor, Rhiannon Ally, went inside for a look at their services.
The entire staff is well-trained in catering to moms to be. Silvia Robles is a massage therapist at Belly Love Spa and said.
"We like to have an oasis for women to get spoiled. It can be a little rough to go through that," Robles said.
They offer spa splurges, like hot stone pedicures with therapeutic foot soak, and techniques specifically designed for mom. All the products are safe for mom and baby. They offer prenatal massages to de-stress.
Robles said, "We do massages lying on side, that way it takes pressure off uterus, off the lower back. It's more comfortable for mom and baby. We use all-natural, organic oils that are very safe. You have to be careful. Your body is going to absorb anything you put on it."
Belly Love Spa also offers 3D and 4D ultrasound technology. So moms like Heather Gonzalez can see what baby is up to.
"Its so funny to see him move around and feel it at the same time." Said Gonzalez.
They also record baby's heartbeat and stuff the device into sell special stuffed animals for gifts. They do belly casts, so mom can keep a special memento from her 9-month journey.
They also do offer services for men and women who are not expecting.
