Two Charged With Stealing Piece Of Walker's Death Car

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Two men have been charged with stealing wreckage of the car in which "Fast and Furious" actor Paul Walker died.

Los Angeles County prosecutors say 18-year-old Jameson Witty and 25-year-old Anthony Janow were each charged Monday with felony grand theft of personal property and two misdemeanors.

They face up to 4 ½ years in jail if convicted.

Walker and driver Roger Rodas died on Nov. 30 when their Porsche Carrera GT hit a light pole and tree and caught fire in the Los Angeles suburb of Santa Clarita.

Prosecutors claim Jameson and Janow stole a roof panel from the wrecked Porsche as it was being towed away.

Witty is free on bail and Janow is expected to surrender Tuesday. It wasn't immediately clear whether they had obtained lawyers.
