Video Shows Beating Posted On Facebook

SWEETWATER (CBSMiami) -- The Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office has released the video of a beating posted on Facebook.

In the video, Adriano Boniche, 21, is seen sprawled out on the ground after being punched and kicked by multiple people.

Police arrested 19-year-old Eduardo Rodriguez and 18-year-old Alexander Baztan in connection to the fight outside a Sweetwater house party back in August.

Baztan denied posting the video on Facebook.

He spoke off-camera to CBS4 News Monday night.

He said Eduardo Rodriguez is the man seen shirtless in the video, stomping on Boniche.

Rodriguez, Baztan said, goes by "Itchy", a name heard multiple times on the video.

Baztan said he's the one in the purple shirt in the video.

You can see the man throw a few punches, landing some of them.

Baztan maintains he did not kick the victim while he was down and insists he called 911 for help.

Baztan said the fight started because Boniche touched two girls inappropriately.

Boniche denies that's what happened.

In the video, another man who was not identified, can be heard saying "Don't ever do that to my sister. Respect."

Boniche said the fight started because he bumped into someone.

He said other people were involved in the attack and he's disappointed more arrests have not been made.

Rodriguez remains in jail without bond for a probation violation.

Both he and Baztan are charged with aggravated battery.
