PBSO: Man Kills Himself After Stabbing Stepson

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBSMiami/AP) — An argument between a man and his stepson had a grim ending in a West Palm Beach home Monday.

According to Palm Beach County authorities, 55-year-old Hiep Le stabbed his stepson,43-year-old Robert Lee, before barricading himself inside a home and turning the knife on himself.

A sheriff's office statement says the body Le was found inside the West Palm Beach home Monday afternoon. He had self-inflicted stab wounds and was pronounced dead on the scene. Lee remains in critical condition in the hospital.

Deputies were called to the home after the two got into in a heated argument over disciplining Lee's son. The fight turned physical with Le attacking his stepson. Lee ran to a neighbor's home for help while his stepfather barricaded himself. Le's wife was also cut in the hands, though not seriously.

Le refused numerous commands to surrender and he was later found dead.
