Gas Prices Dip About A Dime In The Last Month
MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) – In the last month, the price at the pump across the state has dipped more than a dime in some areas.
In Florida, the average price for a gallon of unleaded is $3.23, down from $3.33 a month ago, according to the American Automobile Association. Diesel also decreased to $3.85 a gallon or about three cents less than a month ago.
In Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, drivers are paying more than the state average. Regular unleaded is running $3.30 a gallon in Miami and $3.31 in Ft. Lauderdale. A month ago, drivers were paying $3.38 a gallon in Ft. Lauderdale and $3.37 in Miami. A year ago, regular unleaded was averaging $3.46 a gallon.

The Orlando area, where unleaded regular is averaging $3.13 a gallon, is the cheapest place in the state to fill up.
West Palm Beach is the most expensive place to top off the tank; regular unleaded is averaging $3.35 a gallon.
