Four Communities Warned Of Low Water Pressure For Weeks To Come

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Four Miami-Dade communities should brace for low water pressure during the next month while a 54-inch water main is repaired.

The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department announced Thursday that the repairs should take between four to five weeks and impact Hialeah Gardens, Hialeah, Miami Lakes and Opa-Locka.

Residents can expect there to be lower than normal water pressure during peak water demand times which are the morning and evening hours. MDWSD asked that residents in those areas be conscious of the water they use during these times to lessen the impact.
