Brickell Boat Blaze Spreads Smoke Through Skyline
MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Heavy smoke billowed across the Brickell skyline Saturday morning as Miami Fire Rescue tried to put out a boat fire.
The fire started just before 11 a.m. at 1901 Brickell Drive, according to Miami Fire Rescue.
Firefighters quickly put out the blaze on the 32-foot cabin cruiser, called the "Tropical Knut" to prevent it from spreading to other nearby vessels.
The boat was not occupied at the time of the fire.There are no reports of fire damage to other boats.
No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
