WEST PARK (CBSMiami) — Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are searching for an armed robber who didn’t shy away from the surveillance camera during his hold-up.

According to BSO, at 10:42 a.m. on October 25, an unmasked armed robber walked into a Super Stop convenience store located at 5600 W. Hallandale Beach Blvd. in West Park.

He waited patiently for the customer ahead of him in line to leave then jumped up onto the store’s counter, cocked his gun, pointed it at the two clerks and demanded the store’s cash.

The unidentified man didn’t seem to mind he was being videotaped by the store surveillance camera.

The armed robber got away with thousands in cash.

If you recognize the suspect, call Det. Theophilus Woulard at (954) 321-4270 or report anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers of Broward County at (954) 493-TIPS (8477) or online at www.browardcrimestoppers.org. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $3,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
