The challenge included a 1.2 mile swim, a 56 mile bike ride and a 13.1 mile run, which is equal to a half-marathon. The participants had to finish everything in less than eight hours.
This is the fourth consecutive year the triathlon has launched from Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami. Streets in the area were closed Sunday morning and much of the afternoon.
