Oddsmakers Tap LeBron To Win Another MVP This Season

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Miami Heat superstar LeBron James may be in his last season with the Heat, but if he is, oddsmakers say he's going to go out in style.

LeBron is currently a 3/2 favorite to win the NBA's Most Valuable Player award this year, odds courtesy of Bovada. If LeBron were to win the MVP, it would be his 5th MVP award in the last six years.

The Heat superstar should arguably be a five-time defending Most Valuable Player, but Derrick Rose was named the MVP in 2010-2011.

The closest competitor, according to Bovada, to James in the MVP race will be Kevin Durant and Derrick Rose.

Durant is Bovada's current favorite to average the most points per game, followed by Carmelo Anthony and LeBron.

But, Bovada doesn't see any Heat player leading the league in rebounds, that goes to Dwight Howard currently, or assists, which is currently a 3/2 favorite for Chris Paul.
