No Charges Against Zimmerman In Dispute With Wife

SANFORD (CBSMiami/AP) — George Zimmerman is off the hook with the law - again.

Police in Lake Mary said that they will not file criminal charges against Zimmerman stemming from a dispute last month with his estranged wife.

A police spokesman said today, that investigators had decided the incident didn't rise to criminal charges.

The argument took place last month, just days after Shellie Zimmerman filed divorce papers. In the documents, she claimed to have separated from her husband in August, a month after he was acquitted in the 2012 fatal shooting death of unarmed, black teen, Trayvon Martin.

The clash between the couple took place at a home where the Zimmermans had lived before they were separated. The Lake Mary home is owned by Shellie Zimmerman's parents.
