Dolphins' Ellerbe Inactive For Sunday's Bills Game

MIAMI GARDENS (AP) — Miami Dolphins linebacker Dannell Ellerbe will be riding the bench during Sunday's game.

Ellerbe was declared inactive for the game against Buffalo because of a shoulder injury, and Jason Trusnik will start in his place.

Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake and cornerback Dimitri Patterson are active. Wake missed most of the past three games with a left knee injury, while Patterson had been sidelined since the season opener with a groin injury.

Wake is expected to start, while Patterson is listed as a backup behind Nolan Carroll.

Bills receiver Stevie Johnson is active after missing last week's game with a back injury. Buffalo quarterback Matt Flynn, signed Monday after being cut by Oakland, is inactive.

Newly signed Dolphins defensive tackle Isaako Aaitui is active.
