MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The holidays are just around the corner and radio station Y-100 will begin selling tickets Tuesday to its annual Jingle Ball concert which takes place on Friday, December 20th at 7:30 pm at the BB&T Center in Sunrise.
Performers this year include infamous twerker Miley Cyrus who turned heads with her stage show with Robin Thicke at the MTV VMA show in August. Speaking of Robin Thicke, he’s a performer as well along with Austin Mahone, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Armin Van Buuren, Enrique Iglesias, Fall Out Boy, Flo Rida, Avril Lavigne, Jason Derulo and Fifth Harmony.
Tickets will be sold exclusively to Y100 members via Ticketmaster outlets starting Tuesday, October 15, at 5 pm. until Wednesday, October 16, at 4:59 pm Fans can register for free to become a Y100 member by logging on to www.y100.com.
After the Y100 VIP ticket sale, JPMorgan Chase & Co. debit and credit cardholders can use their Chase card through Ticketmaster from Wednesday, October 16, at 5 p.m. until Friday, October 18, at 5 p.m. by visiting iHeartRadio.com/chase.
Any remaining tickets following the Chase early on-sale will be available for public purchase starting Saturday, October 19, from 12 p.m. via ticketmaster.com.
Tickets ($56 – $266, Ticketmaster) go on sale to the general public at noon Saturday, Oct. 19, but Y100 members can get an early crack at them from 5 p.m. Tuesday – 4:59 p.m. Wednesday (log on to www.y100.com to register for free). And if you have a Chase debit or credit card, you can use it from 5 p.m. Wednesday-5 p.m. Friday, before the general sale.
Every year, Y100’s Jingle Ball gives back to the community to celebrate the holiday season. This year’s official charity for Y100’s Jingle Ball 2013 is the Ryan Seacrest Foundation – $1.00 of each ticket sold will be donated to the non-profit organization, which is dedicated to inspiring today’s youth through entertainment and education focused initiatives.
Y100’s Jingle Ball 2013 is the final stop of the national iHeartRadio Jingle Ball 2013 Tour which also has stops in Dallas, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, Minneapolis, Atlanta, New York, Boston, Washington D.C. and Tampa.
