Miami Man Gunned Down At Apartment Complex
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - A Miami man was gunned down Monday night at Liberty City apartment building.
Now police are asking anyone who saw the shooting to come forward.
"He was a happy go lucky person. He was a prankster, he loved to joke. He wasn't a violent person, I don't know why they killed him," the man's mother told CBS4.
Willie Gordon, 28, was shot multiple times in the courtyard of the apartment complex at NW 17th Avenue and 68th Street. He was taken to the Ryder Trauma center where he died.
"It was quite a brutal scene from what we can tell," said police spokesman Rene Pimentel.
Police said there were several people who witnessed the shooting and they would like to speak to them so they can catch whoever was responsible.
"We're asking the public to give us a hand in finding out who shot this man," said Pimentel.
