September Pet Adoption Fees Waived At Miami-Dade Animal Services
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – September is a great month to adopt a pet according to Miami-Dade Animal Services Department and that is because adoption fees for all pets will be waived all month.
In just the past week, officials said the shelter has received more than 450 stray and surrendered pets.
September is traditionally the month with the lowest adoption rate of the year.
If you are interested in adopting a pet, visit Miami-Dade County Animal Service Department at 7401 NW 74th Street in Miami until September 30, 2013.
More than 27,000 pets are abandoned each year at the shelter leaving the facility's staff to try and find new homes or a rescue partner to take the pets.
