Lauderhill PD Investigating Morning Shooting
LAUDERHILL (CBSMiami) – Lauderhill Police are investigating a shooting Sunday morning.
The victim reportedly was driven to Florida Medical Center on W. Oakland Park Boulevard where he told doctors he had been shot in Lauderhill.
According to officers, the man had three gunshot wounds to the chest and possibly another to his arm. Police said the victim was transported to Broward General Hospital for treatment.
He is expected to survive.
The shooting reportedly began with an altercation between the victim and another person.
Police expect to release more information later Sunday.
