Report: Timberlake To Reunite With 'N Sync At MTV VMAs

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Reunion rumors are rampant that just days after Justin Timberlake rocked the stage at Sun Life Stadium in Miami with Jay Z, the former 'N Sync member will reunite with his boy band mates at this Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards.

According to Us Weekly, an MTV source has confirmed 'N Sync may reunite for their first televised performance together in ten years.

Timberlake is already scheduled to accept this year's highly-coveted Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and after he accepts the award, he'll reportedly be joined onstage with his former bandmates JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick for a short set.

The MTV source told Us Weekly that producers are "trying to make it happen," and that the much-hoped-for reunion is "coming together."

No one in Timberlake's camp has confirmed the report.

'NSync announced their official hiatus in 2002 after the group's Celebrity tour, and their last televised performance together was a Bee Gees medley at the 2003 Grammy Awards.

Timberlake is tied with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis this year for the most MTV Video Music Award nominations.
