Another FSU Receiver Injured In Practice

TALLAHASSEE (CBSMiami/AP) - Another day of practice brought another injury to a Florida State wide receiver. Luckily for Seminoles fans, this injury wasn't considered serious.

FSU wideout Rashad Greene, arguably the team's best receiver, walked off the practice field Monday along with a trainer, and coach Jimbo Fisher says the junior is day-to-day.

Greene led the 11th-ranked Seminoles in all receiving categories last season with 57 receptions for 741 yards and six touchdowns.

Florida State already has lost two backup receivers in the preseason. Senior Scooter Haggins has a stress fracture in his knee, and Willie Haulstead was declared academically ineligible and is no longer a member of the team.

Another senior, Greg Dent, was charged with sexual assault in June and is not able to practice or play while the felony charge is pending.

Florida State opens at Pittsburgh on Sept. 2.
