Focus on South Florida: Teen Pregnancy Prevention

Florida ranks first for rates of new HIV cases among teens. The rate of sexual activity for adolescents statewide is also higher than the national average. We focus on an upcoming teen pregnancy prevention conference, the theme of which is "Use Your Mind, Not Your Body". Hundreds of young men and women are expected to attend the conference which is designed to empower them to take ownership for their decisions and equip them with knowledge to see how their decisions can shape their future.
