Two Charged In Fatal Florida Drive-By Shooting

WINTER HAVEN (CBSMiami/AP) – Two men, with already-extensive criminal histories, have now been charged with second-degree murder.

Carl Booker, 25, got into an argument outside of a bar in Winter Haven earlier this month, according to authorities. Booker was later seen in another fight with the same group at a nearby store.

Polk County Sheriff's deputies say a white SUV approached Booker while he was standing outside, yelled "I told you I was gonna get you" and then fired several shots, killing Booker.

Deputies charged 24-year-old Alexander Rodriguez and 23-year-old Alfred Ervin on Friday. Rodriguez was already in jail on unrelated charges.

Both suspects have an extensive criminal history mostly involving drug possession. They are being held without bond and were slated to have a first appearance Saturday.
