SUNRISE (CBSMiami) – With the upcoming school year just around the corner, it can be hectic trying to gather supplies.  So JAFCO Children's Village decided to give parents of adopted and foster a helping hand with a free Back-To-School event on Wednesday.

The non-profit organization, which serves homeless, neglected and abused children in the tri-county area, said the event will help them be ready for the fist day of school on Monday.

The event will be at 4200 N University Drive Sunrise, FL 33351 at 6:00 p.m. where families are welcome to enjoy face painting, pony rides and a bounce house.

Students will also be able to pick out their own free school supplies.
