Miami Beach Rapper Charged With DUI
MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) – An aspiring rapper from Miami Beach may soon have a rap sheet.
Katrina Huguet, 23, who goes by the name Kat Dahlia, was pulled over around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 4700 block of Alton Road on Miami Beach.
According to her arrest report, Huguet was doing 50 mph in a 30 mph zone with her headlights off.
When an officer pulled her over, the report notes that there was strong odor of alcohol coming from the car, Huguet's eyes were blood-shot and her speech was slurred.
Huguet reportedly refused to take a roadside sobriety test, became verbally combative and refused to place her hands behind her back when she was told she was under arrest.
Huguet has been charged with driving under the influence and resisting arrest without violence.
