"The Price Is Right" Holding S. Fla. Contestant Search
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Are you ready to "Come on Down?"
The daytime Emmy Award-winning game show "The Price Is Right", daytime's #1 show and the longest-running game show in television history, is bringing its fifth annual casting call to South Florida on Sunday, August 18.
Those chosen will appear as contestants during the 42nd season of the game show.
This will be the first time that the nationwide contestant search has come to South Florida. Additional markets will be announced soon.
Representatives from CBS4 will be on hand to interview and videotape contestant hopefuls vying for free trips to Los Angeles and guaranteed spots in the studio audience. Two participants will be selected from each market to fly to Los Angeles and attend a taping of the legendary game show, starting in fall 2013. A bidder's spot on Contestants' Row will be guaranteed to one of the two participants, who will learn if they are selected to "come on down" when they hear their name called during the show's taping.
