New Gun Range Targeting High-End Clients

MIAMI (CBSMiami/Herald) – The Wynwood area has cultivated a look of arts and culture over the past several years, even fighting off a potential Walmart.

But now, a new business is targeting its business towards high-end clientele looking to squeeze off a round or two from an Uzi, machine gun, or other firearms.

According to CBS4 news partner the Miami Herald, Lock & Load Miami will open soon in the midst of all the art galleries. Lock & Load is a new gun range that gives clients the opportunity to shoot weapons like Uzis and other automatic guns.

But, if you want to shoot an Uzi and other SWAT/Special-Ops type weapons, it will cost you quite a bit. According to the Herald, shooting those types of weapons will cost customers approximately $575 for the "automatic gratification" package.

Lock & Load said they hope to host bachelor and bachelorette parties, birthday celebrations, grad nights, and wedding receptions, according to the Herald.

The Herald reported that anyone looking to fire up the party at Lock & Load will have to go through a safety orientation and will have a range specialist with them at all times during the shootings. The facility will also not serve alcohol.
