Chad Johnson's Alleged "Head-Butt" Aftermath Pics Released
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A year after the infamous head-butt incident which led to Chad Johnson and ex-wife Evelyn Lozada getting a divorce, photos of the aftermath have shown on up on a celebrity gossip site.
The pictures were shown Monday at Johnson's court appearance, according to TMZ. Johnson appeared before a judge to have a 30 day jail sentenced reduced. He was sentenced to jail last week during a probation violation hearing after he made a gesture which the judge found disrespectful.
Davie Police took the pictures August 11, 2012 when Johnson reportedly head-butted Lozada during a heated argument after she confronted him about a pack of condoms he brought.
During the hearing, the judge called the head gash photos "horrific," according to the website.
The photos show Lozada sitting in the emergency room with a bloody gash on her forehead and blood on her face. The cut was three inches, according to police.
The ex-NFL wide receiver was arrested for domestic violence and Lozada filed for a divorce three days after the incident. He later pled "no contest" to the charge and was sentenced to 12 months probation and domestic violence classes.
