MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A man, riding his bike, was shot and killed in Miami Tuesday night.
At approximately 8:40 PM, the City of Miami Police responded to several emergency calls about a young man being shot, according to officials.
The incident occurred at northwest 13th Avenue and 58th Street in Miami.
The unidentified victim, according to the on-scene investigation, is a black male in his late twenties. He was reportedly shot multiple times while riding his bicycle and ran to a nearby home for help.
The man was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center where he died shortly after arriving.
Investigators are seeking more information on this incident and a motive is unknown.
