Fatal Accident In Davie Under Investigation
DAVIE (CBSMiami) – A driver apparently lost control of the car, slammed into a tree, and died on the scene of the accident Saturday.
According to police, the car, a silver Pontiac, was driving north on University Drive near Southwest 39th street.
It is reported that the driver, at approximately 1 AM, crossed the median and all the southbound lanes, and then crashed into a tree on the west side of University Drive.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and, according to reports, died on the scene.
