A Tribute Fit For A Kling
SUNRISE (CBSMiami) – William 'Bill' Kling was a tireless advocate for veterans in South Florida.
On Sunday, Kling was paid a special tribute in Sunrise. The Broward County VA Outpatient Clinic, at 9800 W. Commercial Boulevard, was re-named in his memory.
U.S. Reps. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Ted Deutch, who were on hand for the re-naming ceremony, sponsored a bill last year to re-name the clinic after Kling.
Kling's son Steven and veterans from across South Florida also attended the ceremony at the clinic which serves thousands of veterans every year.
