Lego's World Of Chima To Open This Summer

WINTER HAVEN (CBSMiami) — During the summer, kids of all ages will recieve the opportunity to go on an adventure and explore the World of Chima, inspired by the popular Lego Legends of Chima cartoon.

The World of Chima will include a 4-D movie, a complex Lego-building challenge and an interactive water ride where guests will  help Laval the Lion and members of other Chima animal tribes search for a powerful energy source that was stolen by Cragger, the leader of the Crocodile tribe.

According to Lego's website, the Chima storyline is about a pristine, natural paradise that has become a battle ground for eight animal tribes.

Park officials said that the ride will be open to the public on July 3.

Legoland Florida, located in Winter Haven, is one of five Lego-based theme parks in the world and the company's largest.
