FIU Beats UALR, Takes Series

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Florida International’s Aramis Garcia batted in three runs on Sunday to help the Panthers to a 7-1 victory over Arkansas-Little Rock.

Garcia also scored twice and was 2 of 4 from the plate. Josh Anderson and Oscar Agguire each had two hits for FIU.

Panthers’ pitcher Alex Seibold (3-5) gave up one run in seven innings. Alberto Cardenas closed out with two scoreless innings.

UALR’s Blake Huffman (6-4) gets the loss for giving up three runs on seven hits in 5 2/3 innings.
