Body Pulled From Coral Springs Canal

FT. LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – Broward's Medical Examiner's Office is trying to determine the cause of death of a man whose body was found floating in a Coral Springs canal.

The body was spotted early Sunday morning by a jogger near Turtle Run and Sample Road near the Florida Turnpike.

A Coral Springs police dive team removed the body from the water. Identification was found near where the body was found floating but police have not confirmed that it belonged to the man who died.

The Medical Examiner's Office said there did not appear to be any obvious signs of trauma.
