Robbers Don Hospital Scrubs For Credit Union Heist
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The FBI has released photographs of an unusual heist where the robbers were dressed in hospital scrubs.
The robbery took place at the Jetstream Federal Credit Union branch located on the second floor of Mercy Hospital in South Miami.
The two robbers entered the credit union wearing hospital scrubs and demanded money from an employee.
Three employees were kicked, sprayed with an aerosol irritant and threatened with a gun.
All were treated for injuries at the hospital.
The gunmen got away with cash, possibly in a faded green, 4-door older model Buick with window tints. The FBI has not released how much money was taken.
