Oakland Park Girl In Intensive Care After Seven Story Fall
OAKLAND PARK (CBSMiami) – A young girl who survived a seven story fall from a condo building remains in intensive care at Broward Health Medical Center.
It happened Friday night just before 8 p.m. Inza Fleming, sent her 8-year-old son into the bedroom to check on five-year-old Seaniecea, who had been put to bed earlier in the evening.
The boy saw his sister walking on the window sill and told her to get down. While she tried to reach the adjacent bunk beds, she fell through the screen and open window and plunged to the ground.
Seaniecea landed on a grassy patch near a fence, sidewalk and lake. A woman and her 14-year-old daughter drove the mom and critically injured child to the hospital.
No charges have been filed. At this time, all indications are that this appears to be an accident.
