MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Armando Pérez, better known as Pitbull, paid a surprise visit to his former elementary school on Friday morning.
The Cuban-American rapper gave a short motivational speech to Sylvania Heights Elementary’s 3rd-, 4th- and 5th-grade students, who are gearing up to take the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test 2.0 in the next few weeks.
Sylvania Heights Principal Amor Reyes called the rapper’s motivational speech “inspiring.” She added, “He spoke about the success that comes when a person perseveres and works hard. He also promised the kids that he would return and do something special for them.”
