MIAMI (CBSMiami) – An escaped prisoner didn’t get too far when he tried to make a break for it from Miami police.
During his arrest Monday morning the identified man ‘resisted with violence,’ according to the police. He was taken to the South Station at Flagler Street and 22rd Avenue for processing. At one point, he saw his opportunity to make a run for it. So he did.
Officers advised of the situation assisted in the search as they established a perimeter.
The escaped man was finally tracked to NW 23rd Street and 3rd Avenue where he was again taken into custody.
