Dadeland Mall Evacuated After Suspicious Item Found
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Early shoppers were evacuated from the Dadeland Mall Sunday morning after a suspicious package was found.
The Miami-Dade Police Department's Bomb Squad was called in to check out the suspicious item discovered near a parking area, located at 7535 North Kendall Drive.
About 45 minutes later, the bomb squad determined the item was safe and re-opened the mall.
Police have not said what the item was.
