MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A Miami man has been arrested and charged with practicing dentistry without a license.

According to Miami police, 72-year-old Cristino Bravo was found to have multiple dentistry services inside his home at 1260 SW 6th Street.

Bravo, who is from Cuba, told police that he has been doing dentistry for 50 years.

According to the police arrest affidavit, Bravo said labs hire him for $50 for each dental piece that he makes based on dental imprints he received. He is supposed to have a license to practice dentistry tech work. He said business has been slow and he can't afford a license, stated the affidavit.
