Biscayne Blvd. Traffic Re-Routed For Ultra Music Fest

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – This weekend and next weekend thousands of dance music fans will pack downtown Miami for the annual Ultra Music Festival.

To accommodate the massive numbers expected, traffic pattern for several key roads near Bayfront Park will be changed.

The new traffic pattern will be up and running by 10 a.m. on Friday and last until 10 a.m. on the following Monday.

All vehicles heading south on Biscayne Blvd. will be force to turn right on NE 4th Street. Traffic will go west until NE 2nd Avenue where they will turn left and continue to go southbound on NE 2nd Avenue. All side streets will remain open to traffic. The only difference this year is that the southbound lanes of Biscayne Blvd. will all be used to send vehicles northbound only.

Approximately 60 to 75 thousand people are expected to attend this world renown event per day.
