Nine Broward Cities Holding Municipal Elections Tuesday

FT. LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – It's Election Day in a number of Broward County cities as they hold municipal elections on Tuesday.

Voters in Coconut Creek, Ft. Lauderdale, Parkland and Sunrise are asking voters to fill a commission seat. In Deerfield Beach, a commission seat and mayor's job are on the line.

In Miramar, Pompano Beach and Oakland Park, voters will cast their ballots for two commission seats. Oakland Park also has a number if city issues on the ballot. In Pompano Beach, voters will be asked to cast their ballot for a mayor.

Polling places will be open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
