Man Accused Of Killing Teen Girlfriend In Hialeah
HIALEAH (CBSMiami) – A Miami man accused of killing his teenage girlfriend over the weekend made his first court appearance Monday.
Bond was denied for Yoan Raul Dominguez, 21, who has been charged with second degree murder in the death of his 17-year old girlfriend Genesis Foneseca. The couple has a one year old child.
The couple was at the teen's mother's apartment at 6396 W 27th Avenue in Hialeah when Dominguez allegedly shot and killed Fonseca.
Witnesses told police Dominguez was seen running from the apartment after the shooting. Fonseca's mother was not home at the time of the shooting.
Police have not said what prompted the shooting.
Dominguez was picked up by Hialeah police on Sunday.
Dominguez has a criminal history with charges ranging from robbery to battery on the elderly.
