Former Britto Gallery Artist Charged In Child Porn Case
MIAMI (CBS4) – An artist who at one time worked at Romero Britto's Lincoln Road art gallery is facing child porn charges.
Valeriano Torres, 28, was arrested earlier this week at his west Kendall home.
A search of Torres computer reportedly found images of children "engaged in sexual intercourse with other children," according police who said they tipped off after Torrest allegedly sent some of the images through his AOL email account.
Torrest claimed the nude images were art, according to CBS4 news partner The Miami Herald.
