MIAMI (CBSMiami) – It was another cool morning across South Florida Tuesday as we begin to thaw out from Monday’s chilly weather.
Lows Tuesday fell to the 50s near the coast and a few inland areas dropped to the 40s.
Tuesday afternoon, highs are warmer with the upper 70s and closer to our average of 79 degrees due to high pressure sitting right over the state of Florida and more of a southerly wind flow.
Tuesday night, lows will be cool, but comfy with the low 60s near the coast and the mid 50s inland.
Wednesday, highs will still be in the upper 70s with the potential for a stray shower.
Another cold front will also sweep through and ahead of the front the breeze will increase.
Thursday morning will be cold once again with lows falling to the 40s and highs only in the upper 60s.
Friday morning, there could still be some lows in the 40s and then highs will moderate to the low 70s.
This weekend we’ll enjoy cool nights and mornings with lows in the 50s.
Highs will be warmer with the upper 70s and plenty of breezy sunshine.
Don’t forget, Daylight Saving Time returns this weekend. That means we’ll “Spring Forward” Saturday night into Sunday morning which means we’ll lose an hour of sleep. Be sure to set your clocks forward one hour when you go to bed Saturday night.
