MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A man killed in a hit-and-run accident has been identified, as police still search for the suspect.

Yanick France, 48, of North Miami, was struck and killed around 6:30 a.m. Saturday, Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reported.

Records indicated France most recently worked as a secretary at Holiness Church of Zion for All Nations, in Miami.

Another woman in her 20s was found unconscious but breathing.

The hit-and-run accident happened near NW 119th Street and I-95, and involved five cars, FHP said.

Police put up a roadblock from NW 125th Street to 119th Street southbound, but it was later cleared.

Authorities have been looking for a white Mercedes SUV for several hours.
