MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Look up Miami in the dictionary and you won’t see “affordable” anywhere in the definition. However, a new study reveals the Magic City has plenty of deals on wheels.

The Miami market is the cheapest place to buy a used car, according to a new study from CarGurus, which appeared in this News Service of Florida article.

Don’t expect the study to reveal why Miami was so cheap for used cars, though, because the online car shopping website’s study only looked at pricing.

A CarGurus spokeswoman said factors contributing to used car prices include population density, competition between dealerships, supply, and economic conditions.
