Fire Tears Through Pompano Beach Home

POMPANO BEACH (CBSMiami) – Pompano Beach Fire fighters had to rescue two men from the second floor of a home early Sunday morning as a fire ravaged the house.

The fire was first reported at 4 a.m. Sunday in the 2700 block of SE Seventh Drive in Pompano Beach. Fire fighters rescued the two men by using a ladder and both were taken to Broward Health North.

Part of the roof caved in and the home is considered a total loss after the blaze.

Pompano Beach Fire said the cause of the fire was still under investigation.
