HIALEAH (CBSMiami) – A Hialeah police motorman suffered injuries Thursday following an accident on a major South Florida highway.
The police officer was traveling eastbound on I-75 at NW 138th Street when the accident occurred.
In video from Chopper 4, the officer could be on a stretcher before he was wheeled into an ambulance.
The on-ramp to 138th Street was shutdown following the crash.
According to Hialeah Fire Rescue officials, the officer suffered a dislocated shoulder and back pain and was taken to Palmetto General Hospital.
It’s unknown how the accident took place.
