South Florida Murder Suspect Extradited To Miami

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A South Florida murder suspect, arrested in Naples for allegedly killing his ex-girlfriend outside a Little Havana drug store, is back in Miami.

Ifrain Quintana was booked into the Miami Dade Pre-Trial Detention Center Friday, one week after his arrest in Collier County.

Quintana was taken into custody Friday January 18th, after being on the run from police since December 28th when he allegedly shot and killed Ariadna Gonzalez Campa outside a Little Havana drug store in broad daylight.

Law enforcement followed leads to Southwest Florida, after learning that Quintana was hiding out in a home in the Golden Gate neighborhood of Naples in Collier County.

Quintana is being held without bond on a First Degree Murder charge.
