Sold Out Kiss Country Chili Cook Off This Sunday

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – This Sunday, country music favorite Luke Bryan will headline the KISS Country’s 2013 Chili Cook Off at C.B. Smith Park in Pembroke Pines.
Joining Bryan for the all day concert will be Ronnie Dunn, Thompson Square, Florida Georgia Line and Kacey Musgraves.

Bryan, whose recent hits include Country Girl (Shake It For Me) and Drunk on You, won a CMT award for male artist Video of the Year for “I Don’t Want This Night To End.” He also won an American Music Award for Favorite Male Country Artist.
“Luke Bryan has won just about every award you can win, he’s had so many great songs,” said KISS morning host Kenny Walker. “He’s also got that charm, that magnetic thing that women love.”
Dunn, best known for being one half of the duo Brooks & Dunn went solo in 2011 following a break up. He released a self title album in June and its lead off single “Bleed Red” reached the Top 10 on the country music charts.
Husband and wife duo Keifer Thompson and Shawna Thompson are Thompson Square. In 2010 their single “Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not” went platinum and reached number one on the Hot Country Songs chart. In 2012, they won the Academy of Country Music award for Top Vocal Duo.
Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise”, off their second EP, has been climbing various charts. The EP also includes “Get Your Shine On” and “Tip It Back.”
Kacey Musgrave, who will tour with Little Big Town and Kenny Chesney in 2013, joined Lady Antebellum on the Own the Night 2012 in the United Kingdom. Also this year she released her debut single “Merry Go ‘Round” on Mercury Records.
Last year the event attracted 30,000 fans making it the largest country music concert in the Southeast.
Tickets for the 28th annual KISS Country Chili Cook Off are sold out. Those planning to go will need to have a parking pass which can be purchased at wkis.com.
