WESTON (CBSMiami) – Another South Florida-based company made the cut as one of the nation’s best companies to work for.
The developer of people-management software jumped to the No. 9 spot from No. 25 in 2012. Employees receive a free vacation every two years and covers 100 percent of health care premiums, according to Fortune.
Two-thirds of a company’s score is based on responses to an anonymous survey sent to 1,664 randomly selected associates in the U.S. and the remainder is determined by a thorough evaluation of the organization’s overall culture, according to a news release.
Deerfield Beach-based JM Family Enterprises also ranked on the list. The nation’s largest Toyota distributor fell to No. 32, from No. 17 in 2012.
Miami-based Baptist Health South Florida is the third tri-county company on the list at No. 76. It too fell on Fortune’s 2013 rankings, from No. 42 in 2012.
Other Florida companies on the list were Darden Restaurants (No. 65) and Publix Supermarkets (No. 77).
Google topped the list, followed by SAS, CHG Healthcare Services, The Boston Consulting Group and Wegmans Food Markets.
